Why Doesn’t My Payouts Report Match My Payments Collected Report?

Explains why the Payouts report may not match the Payments Collected report.

Payouts Report vs. Payments Collected Report

What You Might Notice

The totals in your Payouts report and Payments Collected report don’t match for the same date range.

Why This Happens

These two reports track different moments in time:

Payments Collected

  • Shows when customers submit payments

  • Payments can happen any day of the week

  • Includes weekends and holidays

Payouts

  • Shows when funds are sent to your bank

  • Not issued on weekends or holidays

  • May be same-day if you use Instant Payouts

Because of this timing difference, the date ranges won’t line up perfectly.

Example:
A payout you receive on 1/2/26 may include payments customers made on 12/31/25.

That doesn’t mean anything is missing — it just means the funds moved on different days.

The Important Part

The Payouts report reflects the exact amount deposited into your bank account.

Differences between these two reports do not indicate missing payments.

For the most part, totals will align closely — but occasional timing gaps are normal.

One More Thing to Check

Neither report includes voided invoices or voided payments.

If you’re reviewing totals and something feels off:

  1. Go to Billing > Billing Reports > Voided Invoice Summary

  2. Adjust the date range to match what you’re reviewing

This can help explain differences in totals.
