Account mapping determines where transactions land in QBO.
Here’s how each type typically connects:

Product and Service Income Account
QBO Account Type | Used for |
Income | Invoices including Service & Product sales |
Note: This determines which Income Account each invoice will route to in QBO.
Payment Deposit to Account
QBO Account Type | Used for |
Other Current Assets | Recording payments from customers to the payment processor before they are deposited into the Pro’s bank |
Note: This should ALWAYS be routed to Undeposited funds or Payments to deposit. If it is routed to another account there will be syncing errors.
Skimmer Payouts
QBO Account Type | Used for |
Bank | Payouts (Deposits) reported from the Payment Processor. Payouts should appear under Billing / Billing Reports / Payouts |
Note: This account should be the Pro’s connected bank account in QBO that receives Skimmer Payouts. The account set up for payouts can be confirmed from Settings / Payments / View Account
Skimmer Payment Fees

Note: These will appear in a cumulative fee on deposits in QBO
