✅ Before You Start
Make sure:
The customer already has a card saved to their account.
You have access to their invoice in Skimmer.
🔄 Steps to Charge the Card on File
Open the customer’s invoice
Navigate to the customer in Skimmer and open the invoice you’d like to apply the payment to.
Locate the Payments section
On the right side of the screen, find the Payments box.
Click “+ Add”
Select the + Add button to create a new payment.
Select the payment method
Under Method, choose Online Payment from the dropdown menu.
👉 This will automatically select the customer’s saved card on file.
Charge the card
Click the blue button at the bottom of the pop-up to process the payment. And that’s it — the card will be charged, and the payment will apply to the invoice.
